Mini DAS - Service and Maintenance Support
Part of the design process for a Mini DAS solution means we undertake full site analysis combined with carrier signal measuring and location mapping, desktop surveys, on-site test measurements and internal and external antenna locations tests. Followed by repeater equipment locations planning, building cabling and safety reviews with fire seal conduits and fixing and electrical safety and personnel accreditation clearances.
For on going support we will maintain the repeater system for a period of 12 months without any charge.
The Mini DAS is divided into two main components: the backbone, which distributes the RF power of the base stations to each floor, and the floor elements, which maximises distribution of RF power around each floor. The backbone is composed of coaxial cables, splitters and couplers, allowing the exterior powerful signals to be boosted into areas within the building to cover areas of poor or no coverage, such as carparks, basements, lifts and shadowed areas.
A Mini DAS mobile coverage solution is based on custom repeater hubs for Telstra, Optus & Vodafone signal boosting.
Service and Maintenance Agreement
Prior to final design we undertake full:
- Site analysis
- Site analysis and design
- Desk top survey
- On-site test measurements and inspections, and
- Internal and external antenna locations
- Repeater equipment locations
- Cabling and safety reviews
- Concept diagram
- Fire seal conduits and fixing, sundries
- Issue Electrical Safety Certificate
Total will maintain the repeater system for a period of 12 months without any charge. This includes fault finding, remote management, firmware upgrades and responding to arising issues that may affect the repeaters performance.
